HACKATHON
Assistive Technology and Medical Well-being
Eligibility

Open to seekers, students, research scholars, academicians, and common people.

Individuals or teams of up to 3 members can participate.
Registration
-
Online registration is mandatory on or before July 20, 2024.
-
A registration fee of Rs. 300/- for an individual (food and participation certificate included) needs to be paid during registration.
Selection Process
-
A first level screening of applications will be conducted on August 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, based on the allotment.
-
Shortlisted candidates will be notified by email.
Intellectual Property
All developed ideas must be either registered as a startup or the technology needs to be transferred for further development.
Hackathon Event
-
Shortlisted participants will have 6 hours to develop and present their assistive technology or medical well-being focused hackathon model to a panel of judges.

The model can be presented or assembled on-site.
Judging Criteria

Innovation and originality of the idea (40%)

Technical feasibility and implementation (30%)

Potential impact on the target audience (20%)

Presentation clarity and delivery (10%)
Awards

The top 15 participants will be selected and awarded incubation provision in diocesan institutes of Changanassery, Pala, and Kanjirapally.

Winners will receive additional benefits including: Mentoring support, Guidance on applying for further grants, Free assistance and corporate training programs in national institutes, Support with company registration and prototype development, Assistance to meet angel investors
